Privacy Notice

Last updated: 24 June 2026

This notice explains how Phi-Coherent Inc. (“we”), the operator of phicoherent.com, handles personal data when you visit this website. We are the data controller. You can reach us at jbadwal@phicoherent.com (Ontario, Canada).

What we collect

This is a static research and information site. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details through the site itself. The only personal data we process is analytics data, and only if you consent.

Cookies and Google Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. When you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as:

PurposeLegal basis
Analytics / measurement (Google Analytics 4)Your consent
Remembering your light/dark theme and consent choiceStrictly necessary (no cookie; stored in your browser only)

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Consent

No analytics cookies are set until you click Accept on the banner. Until then, Google Analytics runs in a restricted, cookieless mode (Google Consent Mode v2) with advertising signals disabled. If you click Decline, analytics stays off.

This clears your stored preference and shows the banner again so you can update it.

International transfers and retention

Google may process analytics data on servers outside Canada and the EU/UK, including the United States, under the data-transfer safeguards in Google’s terms. Aggregated analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. See Google’s Privacy Policy for how Google handles the data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Canada’s PIPEDA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at jbadwal@phicoherent.com. You can withdraw analytics consent yourself at any time using the button above.

Changes

We may update this notice as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
